Description:

A mint (square stem) grows profusely late March - April. Has tiny spines that make it feel sticky when pulled up. 5-8 whorled leaves, ea. set progressively farther apart up stem. No flowers visible at time of collection. Annual as it always occurs in same area of yard ea. year. Grows prostrate and spreading.
